We take great care and pride in providing the highest quality, authentic Pita, Wraps, and Flatbreads, and we have carefully considered the role of every ingredient that goes into our products.
Joseph’s Bakery products are made in our own dedicated baking facility that is completely free of peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, fish, and shellfish.
Nine foods account for nearly 90% of all food-related allergic reactions: milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, soy, wheat, and sesame. The only allergens from this list used in our products are Wheat and Soy. Apart from our Gluten Free products, all Joseph’s Bakery products contain wheat. Many of our products, including our Flax, Oat Bran & Whole Wheat Line, and all flavors of our Lavash and Wraps also contain soy. Our Gluten Free Wraps are free from wheat and wheat products and are tested for wheat content before they leave our bakery, but they do contain soy.
While no Joseph’s Bakery products contain fresh milk or eggs we do process milk and eggs in our facility. We take significant precautions to avoid cross-contamination, such as storing allergens separately and intensely sanitizing our equipment after processing an allergen.
