Joseph's Bakery products can be frozen for up to a year and will still thaw out with the same fresh taste! To best maintain the quality of our products, please follow the instructions below when freezing and thawing your pitas, lavash, or wraps.
Freezing:
When you get home with your bread, remove what you will use for the next couple of days and freeze the remaining for optimal freshness. They can be frozen in the package they come in, and you do not need to separate each piece of bread.
Thawing:
Thaw your frozen bread by leaving it on the countertop at room temperature until thawed. You can thaw the bread piece by piece, or you can thaw the whole package at once. You don't have to remove it from the packaging; it can be thawed in the bag it comes in. Once the product is completely thawed, it is best not to refreeze it, as this will reduce the product quality.
After thawing, our products will stay fresh at room temperature between 10-30 days. Please see this article for more information about product shelf life!
As part of the best practices for storing our products, do not store them in the refrigerator.
